California just made a huge positive step in Healthcare

Governor Jerry Brown made California the fourth state in the US on Monday to allow physician assisted dying. Yes, only the fourth, and it's disappointing that the numbers (or the lack of) overshadow the real achievement. Everyone has the right to live, and everyone should have the right to die. Of course life is sacred, but the opponents of this law must not seriously think that California's true intentions are to have a genocide. They simply just want to help those people who have no hope of a cure, and are suffering. That's it, there is no story here, Everyone is allowed to make their decisions about their life and body. If you can go and get an abortion from a professional, you should also be able to go to your doctor to die. They are there to help you and to lessen your pain. In any way possible. Of course we support that background checks must take place, and several doctors (including psychologists) should sign off before you are allowed to die. You sho

Le Pen's triumphal day

Marine Le Pen, the popular leader of France’s far right party, Front National, has announced the formation of a new bloc in the European Parliament on Tuesday.

The group, called Europe of Nations and Freedoms, will provide a bigger voice and power for the French leader, who is widely seen as the face of new politics in Europe. Together, the Eurosceptic, anti-Immigration parties will be eligible for more funding and time on the debate floor. It should certainly spice up things even more in the continent.

Le Pen formed this group in last May after her party won the EU elections in France, but at the time was unable to collect enough support from other European countries. This is what has changed now.

She was now able to gain more than enough support from groups such as Italy’s Lega Nord, and Geert Wilders’ Dutch Party for Freedom. She also has support from Austria, Poland, Belgium and Janice Atkinson from the UK. One notable missing party is Nigel Farage’s UKIP, but Mr. Farage already heads another bloc in Brussels which is very similar to Le Pen’s.

Janice Atkinson though is a former UKIP MEP, who was expelled from the party not so long ago due to expenses scandal and over remarks she made towards the East-Asian community back in Britain. Nigel Farage has previously stated that racism is not allowed in UKIP, and that is why both Ms. Atkinson had to go and why he didn’t form a coalition with Ms. Le Pen.

Ms. Le Pen however has been praised for modernizing National Front and starting a populist approach in France that has not been racist at all. National Front is technically now the second biggest party in France, overtaking the embattled President Hollande’s Socialists, and is expected to be head-to-head against Nicolas Sarkozy’s Republicans in the next Presidential election within 2 years’ time.

While it is clear that the members of this new coalition have some differences, together in a united way they will be much stronger and will be expected to grow over the years, both nationally in each member state and on a continent wide European level as well.

The timing of this new bloc couldn’t be more interesting and better for Le Pen, as the debate over the migrant crisis will continue this month in Brussels. And the proposed asylum seeking quota system could be jeopardized.

Paris was attacked again

EPA On Friday, the 13th of November, everything was normal in Paris. People were happy that the weekend is here, and went out with friends and loved ones for some dinner and drinks, or for their favorite band's concert or cheered for their home nation as France took on Germany in an International friendly. The same night though, the evil also descended on the French capital and took away 130 souls. It was an absolute tragedy. People have been shocked to their cores. It is with great sadness that we write about this topic. It touched us very deeply too. That is partially why it took us so long to reflect on this issue, the other being the fact that there is still so many new developments surfacing continuously. The whole picture is not clear yet. It may never be. What is perhaps one of the most striking facts about this attack beyond the number of casualties, is the fact that this is the second tragedy in Paris this year alone. It has only been 10 months since gunmen at

Is Spotify about to die?

It’s a bit of a long shot, but Jay-Z’s latest announcement is certainly leading the music industry in the direction of the death of Spotify.  On March 30, Jay-Z along with 15 other musical icons, such as Madonna, Kanye West, Coldplay and Rihanna announced Tidal’s plans to take over the world. The world of music, that is. On top of all of this, Tidal continues to make headlines as last week, Beyonce shared a surprise song ‘Die With Me’ on the streaming site, to mark her and Jay-Z’s seventh wedding anniversary. Have you heard of Tidal yet? If not, it’s probably because you’ve been listening to your free music on Spotify instead. How dare you! Shame on you! At least, that is what Jay-Z wants you to believe. Tidal is a subscription-based service, which allows you to stream songs and music videos on your devices. What’s new about that? Probably the fact that it offers a better sound quality than Spotify and has the backing of some of the biggest stars in the music industry.

Special Report Part 3: Migrant Crisis Live from Budapest

Budapest is a beautiful city. In fact even in an objective opinion, it can be called one of the most gorgeous creations. It simply is just amazing. It is also sometimes referred to as the centre of Europe, due to its geographical location. However, this year it also became the centre of something else. The migrant crisis that is engulfing the EU.  The sad truth of the matter is that the demographics  of the world is changing, and we must accept it. There is nothing we can do at this point to change or stop it. This year already, almost 100,000 migrants have crossed into Hungary alone (and thus the EU) illegally. And many more were probably missed by authorities. The ones who chose this route over the Mediterranean, usually come from warn torn regions such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan or from parts of the world where they have few opportunities and bad living conditions such as Pakistan and Kosovo. Many of them travel to Budapest on foot, and sleep with the capital's hom
