Politico Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were the big winners on Super Tuesday. Both the Republican and Democratic frontrunner made their lead stronger, as each won 7 states. It looks like it will be Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump in the November general election. Can anyone stop them still? It's possible, however the likelihood of that happening is decreasing day by day. It looks like America narrowed its choice down. The question now is, who will you support now? Hillary Clinton knew it was going to be a big night for her, but she was still cautious. Why? Because Bernie Sanders is showing no signs of a slow-down. He is still dangerously close to her, but it looks like she is able to keep the lead steadily. However, she needs to work on gaining his voter's support. It is not guaranteed at all, that if he drops out, that they will all just flock behind her. Although Trump has the same problem. Politico Hillary Clinton ran her victory lap last night in So uth Carolina. No one expected her to loose there, and she didn't. Her African-American support base showed up, and she won decisively. It was her New Hampshire. But because Bernie wasn't expected to win there, it doesn't really hurt him. However, the size of the win is even beyond the predicted.But it's not like his civil rights record and arrest from the 60's doesn't prove that he too is for the African Americans. They both are. Now we move on to Super Tuesday. That will decide a lot for both the Democrats and Republicans.  The 48 point win though still underscores Sanders' troubles going into March. Clinton now has a strong advantage in the South, and that will give her a lot of delegates. Especially Texas. Sanders may win some of the northern states. But he certainly is in big trouble. Trump is now on course to win the Republican nomination. He can still be stopped, but the chances of that are decreasing. He can win states all around the country. He won with the young, old, evangelicals and both the highly and less-educated people. But most stunningly, he even won among Hispanics. And by a lot. Well well well, Who would have thought? Six months ago nobody, but six days ago everybody. Jeb Bush has quit the Republican race too! The former Florida Governor was an early front runner in this race, but became the latest victim to the Governor's curse, and of course Donald Trump. We are sad to see him go, but he had to! Let's be honest. With his departure, only 5 candidates remain in the race, as Jim Gilmore finally quit as well recently, and as the field narrows ahead of the Nevada Caucus. AP/Politico The heat turned up last night. The Democrats took on each other in Nevada, while the Republicans battled it out in South Carolina. As they will now exchange states, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump can be the happiest and most relaxed. They both won last night, a nd have good chances of repeating this feast in the next vote too! Bernie Sanders had a late surge, but Hillary edged him out, while Trump comfortably won ahead of Rubio. But Rubio did beat Cruz which is terribly loss for the Texan, and we also said goodbye to someone last night. This is what happened on February 20th. Hillary Clinton won in Nevada. But for months her campaign have been saying that this is where they will definitely crush Bernie. And he will be over. Former President Bill Clinton began campaigning for Hillary Clinton this week. With less than four weeks before the first votes are cast, many campaigns are shaking up their tactics. It is now only 50 days till Iowa, and Ted Cruz is the new star on the block. Latest polls show that the Texas Senator overtook the lead from Donald Trump. In the string of latest national polls however, Trump is still leading, but his lead has also fallen, as Marco Rubio rises as well, but currently Cruz has the momentum. On the national scale, Carson's fall is the most visible change. He has made some controversial comments lately, and as a result is falling at a faster rate than President Obama's approval rate. Trump continues to be controversial, and it looks like his latest (disgraceful) comments against muslims might finally make him go down, to a degree at least.  It is also now time for Graham, Gilmore, Pataki and Santorum to finally quit. They clearly have no measurable support behind them after months, so they should just leave to make more space. The Republicans met for the fourth time in Wisconsin on the 10th, while the Democrats met yesterday for the second time in Iowa. Both of the debates were significantly different from the ones they previously had, and it was interesting to see how the dynamics change. But at the end of the day, there are always winners and losers, and we were there to see it. Here is what happened: In the Republican debate, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz stood out. For Rubio it was the second consecutive debate in which he performed really well, gave clear policy answers and had smart comebacks for those attacking him. His chances look better and better everyday, and there is no an indication that he was able to keep his momentum going on from the strong debate performances on his campaign stops. A lot of question were answered as it was a crucial night for many of the candidates. One thing is clear though, Marco Rubio is now the biggest hope of the party, and he should be chosen as the nominee.  It is also easy to see that several of the other candidates should withdraw, to allow for a clear, policy driven debate between the serious candidates, like the Democrats have been able to do. Unfortunately however, there is only a little possibility that the field will thin out enough in time before Iowans will go to the polling stations. Jindal, Pataki, Santorum and Graham should drop out now. The miracle is not going to happen for them. Although he may not admit to it, Trump is slipping. In the latest national and statewide polls, he has been slowly losing his ground, most often to Ben Carson. In Michigan for example, Carson already overtook him, but the extravagant businessman still remains atop most polls. But if the momentum or current tide has its ways, and water usually does, that will change soon. There is nothing to suggest that this is only a temporary blip in Trump's system, although he has always surprised the audiences. When Trump launched his campaign, he was largely ignored. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker became the second candidate after Rick Perry to drop out of the Presidential Race on Monday. The one time frontrunner shocked his staffers and supporters by dropping so early in the race. Although some analysts say that after the second disastrous debate performance, low polling numbers and fundraising, it was only a matter of time. So what went wrong? Well, Scott Walker was an early frontrunner in the race, and was championed to be the only true conservative this time around. Last year he travelled the country and gave speeches, especially in Iowa, where he was well received. Walker was leading Iowa with a considerable lead in this busy race, even well into the summer, and was nationally polling in the top 2 or 3 consistently. Then came Donald Trump. Carly Fiorina out shined everyone once again. Wednesday saw the second Republican Presidential Debate take place at the Reagan Library in California. It was a glorious yet terrifying setting, as the candidates stood in front of President Reagan's plane, with which he effectively ended the Cold War.  Once again there were two debates, and once again there were two clear winners. In the second tier debate, a surprise victor emerged, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. No one expected this, but it was a very clear victory in the end for the veteran. And in the main event of the night, there were several interesting performances, but Carly Fiorina clearly collected her second victory of the debate season.
