California just made a huge positive step in Healthcare

Governor Jerry Brown made California the fourth state in the US on Monday to allow physician assisted dying. Yes, only the fourth, and it's disappointing that the numbers (or the lack of) overshadow the real achievement. Everyone has the right to live, and everyone should have the right to die. Of course life is sacred, but the opponents of this law must not seriously think that California's true intentions are to have a genocide. They simply just want to help those people who have no hope of a cure, and are suffering. That's it, there is no story here, Everyone is allowed to make their decisions about their life and body. If you can go and get an abortion from a professional, you should also be able to go to your doctor to die. They are there to help you and to lessen your pain. In any way possible. Of course we support that background checks must take place, and several doctors (including psychologists) should sign off before you are allowed to die. You sho

Walker's Wall

Scott Walker used to be a front runner in this race, and was often hailed as the only true Conservative. Lately however, he has been one of the establishment candidates who have slipped in the polls. Therefore it is possibly that he is only trying to generate some buzz around his campaign, as the race moves into the fall and picks up speed. Nevertheless, Walker too is open to the idea of building a wall. Trump style. You'd think. But no no, he is talking about securing the northern border with Canada. Yes, let that sink in.

The Wisconsin Governor said that the discussion regarding a Canadian wall is 'legitimate' and should be seriously considered if the US wants to secure its borders. Activists say that much of the focus in the campaign has been given to the Mexican border, where people see  bigger threat. That's where most of the illegal immigration and drug trafficking is happening, but there are dangers elsewhere too.

Canada has seen two terrorist attacks in the past year, and the fear is that the attackers will try to cross into America through the Canadian border, which is a lot less patrolled by both countries. The Canadian border is 5,525 miles long, which is almost three times as long as the Mexican one. It would practically be impossible to carry it out, especially since some of the terrain is very rough and icy.

The famous "Millenium plot" in 2000 also involved the attacker trying to cross into the country from America and carrying out atrocities in Los Angeles. That plan was averted, but some people say that a wall is needed to achieve similar success in the future.

While the Walker campaign seems to be serious, most people are not. While it can be argued that more patrol is needed, an idea of a wall there is total nonsense, so no one should get their hopes up (if you even ever wanted to).

However, Walker wasn't the only Republican candidate making buzz in the race with a controversial idea this week. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie too joined the "race".

Governor Christie suggested that FedEx should invent a new technology that allows the company and the government to track (illegal) migrants in the same way as one can do with a package right now. It is absolutely absurd. Most people could barely believe it.

Let's not even go the multiple human rights violation problems and the costs of this plan. It's not worth it. The chances of it becoming reality are even less than the wall. Although, many say that the NSA is already doing it through people's phones.

But we are not ones to get into conspiracy theories.

Paris was attacked again

EPA On Friday, the 13th of November, everything was normal in Paris. People were happy that the weekend is here, and went out with friends and loved ones for some dinner and drinks, or for their favorite band's concert or cheered for their home nation as France took on Germany in an International friendly. The same night though, the evil also descended on the French capital and took away 130 souls. It was an absolute tragedy. People have been shocked to their cores. It is with great sadness that we write about this topic. It touched us very deeply too. That is partially why it took us so long to reflect on this issue, the other being the fact that there is still so many new developments surfacing continuously. The whole picture is not clear yet. It may never be. What is perhaps one of the most striking facts about this attack beyond the number of casualties, is the fact that this is the second tragedy in Paris this year alone. It has only been 10 months since gunmen at

Christie makes it 7

Iowa and New Hampshire have done their job again. The field is narrowing down, as New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has become the latest candidate to drop out of the Republican race. The outspoken governor was an early frontrunner in this race, however he was hurt by the Bridgegate scandal back home, and was overshadowed in the crowded Establishment/Governor lane and by the rise of political outsiders like Donald Trump. After coming in at 6th place in the Granite State, Christie didn't believe in the race anymore, as he put all his eggs in one basket. It worked for Kasich, not for Christie, and that is why we are saying bye to him now. In the run-up to the 2012 election, Chris Christie was widely favored in the party, and thought of as a potential candidate. He was however not yet ready and did not join, despite the fact that Romney received a surprisingly strong challenge from Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich. He did however went on to campaign heavily for Romney la

Special Report Part 3: Migrant Crisis Live from Budapest

Budapest is a beautiful city. In fact even in an objective opinion, it can be called one of the most gorgeous creations. It simply is just amazing. It is also sometimes referred to as the centre of Europe, due to its geographical location. However, this year it also became the centre of something else. The migrant crisis that is engulfing the EU.  The sad truth of the matter is that the demographics  of the world is changing, and we must accept it. There is nothing we can do at this point to change or stop it. This year already, almost 100,000 migrants have crossed into Hungary alone (and thus the EU) illegally. And many more were probably missed by authorities. The ones who chose this route over the Mediterranean, usually come from warn torn regions such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan or from parts of the world where they have few opportunities and bad living conditions such as Pakistan and Kosovo. Many of them travel to Budapest on foot, and sleep with the capital's hom
