California just made a huge positive step in Healthcare

Governor Jerry Brown made California the fourth state in the US on Monday to allow physician assisted dying. Yes, only the fourth, and it's disappointing that the numbers (or the lack of) overshadow the real achievement. Everyone has the right to live, and everyone should have the right to die. Of course life is sacred, but the opponents of this law must not seriously think that California's true intentions are to have a genocide. They simply just want to help those people who have no hope of a cure, and are suffering. That's it, there is no story here, Everyone is allowed to make their decisions about their life and body. If you can go and get an abortion from a professional, you should also be able to go to your doctor to die. They are there to help you and to lessen your pain. In any way possible. Of course we support that background checks must take place, and several doctors (including psychologists) should sign off before you are allowed to die. You sho

Perry drops out

1 down, 16 more to go. Former (and longest serving) Governor of Texas, Rick Perry has suspended his campaign for the Presidency on Friday. While there have been rumours of financial troubles and lack of enthusiasm in the polls and rallies, it still comes as somewhat of a shock, due to it being so early in the race.

Perry was not doing well in the polls, and failed to reach the top tier debate in August, but was expected to attend the next debate in 4 days time in California. His campaign has been saying that this debate will be different, and with Carly Fiorina gone, Perry could outshine the other candidates, and gain traction. That will not happen now.

Governor Perry was once the frontrunner in the 2012 race, but eventually had to drop out due to several big mistakes. Most famously, he forgot the name of an agency he wanted to scrap during one of the debates. He was never able to recover, and endorsed Mitt Romney.

After the disaster of 2012, he returned to being Governor, and prepped himself on policy issues and traveled the country. He began to lay the foundations of his next campaign, and it looked good for a while.

But by 2015 he was overshadowed. There were 16 other candidates, including several other Governors, a Bush, an outspoken Donald Trump and few other political outsiders. There was nothing that set Perry aside. Not even his glasses. Even in Texas he was outdone by Senator Ted Cruz. That was an early warning sign.

Perry was not recognisable, people failed to remember him, and he gained no traction. And than his money troubles began, and slowly had to cut back on staff in the early voting states. But there was still hope because he had a sizeable super PAC. Well his hopes are over for now. And probably for forever too, but Perry should never be underestimated.

It is a shame though, because on paper he looks great. He has one of the best credentials. He successfully led Texas for 15 years, which is the 11th biggest economy in the world. He was trusted on border and Mexico related issues, immigration, foreign policy and economy. But somehow he just failed to lift off this time around. He did however made a graceful exit from the race, and he should be applauded and respected for that. Among many other things. Even most other candidates praised him. And that is rare.

His exit from the race will change up a few things. First, there will be one less candidate, but 16 is still a lot. Senator Ted Cruz will likely receive a boost, as now he will be able to get the full backing of Texas. Not just the people, but the dollars. And Texas is rich. Cruz has been doing really well lately but this will help him even more. Especially is Perry endorses him. He hasn't yet endorsed anyone, but it will likely to be either Cruz or Bush, under whose brother he served in Texas.

His exit will also make the second tier debate even more interesting, and crucial for the candidates. There will now be only four participants: Pataki, Jindal, Graham and Santorum. We now expect Jindal to perform the best at that debate.

Perry did exit the race, but we must thank him for entering it, because he raised its profile, and brought a lot of expertise with him.

May the odds now be in favour of the others.

Paris was attacked again

EPA On Friday, the 13th of November, everything was normal in Paris. People were happy that the weekend is here, and went out with friends and loved ones for some dinner and drinks, or for their favorite band's concert or cheered for their home nation as France took on Germany in an International friendly. The same night though, the evil also descended on the French capital and took away 130 souls. It was an absolute tragedy. People have been shocked to their cores. It is with great sadness that we write about this topic. It touched us very deeply too. That is partially why it took us so long to reflect on this issue, the other being the fact that there is still so many new developments surfacing continuously. The whole picture is not clear yet. It may never be. What is perhaps one of the most striking facts about this attack beyond the number of casualties, is the fact that this is the second tragedy in Paris this year alone. It has only been 10 months since gunmen at

Is Spotify about to die?

It’s a bit of a long shot, but Jay-Z’s latest announcement is certainly leading the music industry in the direction of the death of Spotify.  On March 30, Jay-Z along with 15 other musical icons, such as Madonna, Kanye West, Coldplay and Rihanna announced Tidal’s plans to take over the world. The world of music, that is. On top of all of this, Tidal continues to make headlines as last week, Beyonce shared a surprise song ‘Die With Me’ on the streaming site, to mark her and Jay-Z’s seventh wedding anniversary. Have you heard of Tidal yet? If not, it’s probably because you’ve been listening to your free music on Spotify instead. How dare you! Shame on you! At least, that is what Jay-Z wants you to believe. Tidal is a subscription-based service, which allows you to stream songs and music videos on your devices. What’s new about that? Probably the fact that it offers a better sound quality than Spotify and has the backing of some of the biggest stars in the music industry.

Special Report Part 3: Migrant Crisis Live from Budapest

Budapest is a beautiful city. In fact even in an objective opinion, it can be called one of the most gorgeous creations. It simply is just amazing. It is also sometimes referred to as the centre of Europe, due to its geographical location. However, this year it also became the centre of something else. The migrant crisis that is engulfing the EU.  The sad truth of the matter is that the demographics  of the world is changing, and we must accept it. There is nothing we can do at this point to change or stop it. This year already, almost 100,000 migrants have crossed into Hungary alone (and thus the EU) illegally. And many more were probably missed by authorities. The ones who chose this route over the Mediterranean, usually come from warn torn regions such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan or from parts of the world where they have few opportunities and bad living conditions such as Pakistan and Kosovo. Many of them travel to Budapest on foot, and sleep with the capital's hom
